How our tapas catering works in Sipson

Sangria and bar staff can be added, so drinks and nibbles come from one booking. We’re frequently asked to cater engagement parties and sharing boards for evening guests, with albóndigas, Manchego with membrillo and croquetas.

For a London drinks party in Sipson, canapé tapas are easy to serve in a small space. Tapas, canapés, desserts, sangria and staff can all be added, so one booking can cover the whole menu.

Step by step

The paella is cooked in huge, shallow pans over gas burners. We need a level, ventilated spot, which we agree with you beforehand. At midsummer, it’s light in Sipson until about 9:20pm, ideal for tapas in the garden. By late September it is dark around 7:05pm, and in December by about 3:55pm.

  1. Send us the date, venue, numbers and serving style.
  2. We suggest a selection and confirm a quote.
  3. On the day we arrive, set up and finish the hot tapas on site.
  4. Canapés circulate with drinks, or tapas go to the tables.
  5. Afterwards, our equipment is cleared away.

Preparing for the day

  • Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches
  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day

Planning help

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

If you do cook yourself, test the pan and burner together beforehand, have hot stock ready, and leave the rice alone once it is in. Keep a clear zone around the burner.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. With live paella catering, you get the theatre without the work.
