How the day works

We get there well before serving, unload, set up the burners and prepare the stock. Your guests are welcome to watch as the paella takes shape. A summer drinks reception in Further Quarter has daylight until about 9:15pm at midsummer, ideal for tapas in the garden. In late September, sunset is about 7:00pm; winter receptions, dark by 3:50pm, are better indoors.

  1. It starts with your date, venue, numbers and how you want the tapas served.
  2. We put together a tapas selection and a quote.
  3. On the day we arrive, set up and finish the hot tapas on site.
  4. Canapés go round with the drinks, or table tapas go out to share.
  5. Afterwards, our equipment is cleared away.

What affects the price in Further Quarter

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, because of:

  • How long we’re needed on site
  • Your choice of paellas
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff

There is no one-size-fits-all price for live paella. A garden party lunch and a full wedding menu are very different jobs. We itemise everything in your quote.

What we need to know

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what’s useful:

  • What the venue already provides
  • The date and time of the event
  • The address or venue name
  • Diets and allergies you know about

Send us the date, your venue or TN26 postcode and guest numbers, plus any dietary needs, and you will get a menu idea and a price. Just fill in our quote form.
