How our tapas catering works in Challock
Tapas pair naturally with a live paella, as a starter while the rice cooks, but they’re great on their own. Popular choices include patatas bravas, croquetas and tortilla española, and we’re regularly asked to cater cocktail parties and work receptions.
Near Challock, tapas and sangria suit a garden or field party. We cook every pan in full view of your guests, so it arrives hot and becomes part of the event.

What tapas catering costs
The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:
- Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood
- The number of people
- Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff
- How long we’re needed on site
If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll put together a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

DIY paella versus live catering
Weighing up DIY against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. We are happy to give you a quote to compare.
Some hosts like to cook themselves. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.
What we need at the venue
If a space is not suitable, we will tell you, and help find another spot. What matters most:
- Venue approval for outside catering
- Parking near the venue
- A spot for our serving station
If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and we’ll say what we think before you book.
