Should I cook it myself?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up stuck at the stove. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.

For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles separate pans for each diet.

Planners, venues and businesses

Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we will keep you updated on timings and set-up.

If you are organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we’ll work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Why choose live paella in Bridge?

If you want food that encourages guests to mingle, tapas work brilliantly. Compared with a plated meal, live paella is frequently good value, because it needs no kitchen and fewer staff. Ask us for a quote.

Step by step

From set-up to serving, we look after the food, so you can enjoy your event. Any tapas or canapés are served first while the paella cooks. A summer drinks reception in Bridge has daylight until about 9:15pm at midsummer, perfect for canapés outdoors. In late September, sunset is about 7:00pm; winter receptions, dark by 3:50pm, are better indoors.

  1. We check your date.
  2. You choose canapés, table tapas or both.
  3. We arrive and set up our station.
  4. We serve the spread.
  5. We clear away at the end.

Getting ready for the day

  • Ensure the spot is clear of anything flammable
  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Have a level space ready for the pans

  • Keep seafood and meat dishes clearly separate

Table tapas are set down to share at the start of the meal.

How we price tapas catering

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • How many staff you need
  • How many courses
  • Guest numbers
  • The length of service

Larger events typically cost less per head, because the cooking set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.

Getting an accurate quote

To check availability and price, we need:

  • Which courses you have in mind
  • The date and rough timings
  • A photo of the space, if you can
  • What the venue already provides

A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: venue, timings, courses and extras. When you’re ready, use our quote form.
