  • Send a picture of the garden so we can check
  • Level ground for the pans and burners
  • Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and we will advise.

Choosing a paella caterer

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.

Why live cooking beats a buffet

A hog roast is great for meat lovers, but harder for vegetarians and vegans. Separate paella pans cover everyone. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed before you book.

Catering for every guest

Nearly every event has some special diets. To cater well for them:

  • Make sure children stay back from the pans
  • Have bins ready
  • Arrange a gazebo in case of rain
  • Count adults and children separately

Booked staff help serve and clear so you can relax.

Tapas and nibbles while the paella cooks keep guests happy.

Bridge parties: what to know

Bridge is about 3 miles south-east of Canterbury, in Kent. Tell us where your party in Bridge will be, and we will plan access and set-up. We cover 922 places in Kent, from the larger towns to small villages.

If guests are coming by rail, the nearest station is Bekesbourne station, about 1.2 miles north-east. Historic houses near Bridge include Goodnestone Park (4.4 miles east). Grand settings like these often have strict catering rules, so for most parties a garden or hired hall is simpler. The Kent Downs National Landscape is within about 7 miles of Bridge, so a garden party here comes with a lovely backdrop.

Here we cover the CT4 postcode area, and we can cater your party anywhere in it. Your party could be at a home on High Street, Station Road and Western Avenue. For parties just outside Bridge, we cover Patrixbourne (1 mile north-east), Bishopsbourne (1 mile south), Bekesbourne Hill (1 mile north-east), Bekesbourne (1 mile north-east) and Kingston (2 miles south-east). Bridge questions

Do you cater in the Kent Downs National Landscape?

Yes. Some venues there have rules about vehicles, ground and cooking, so check with yours. We will follow the site rules.

Is Bridge close to London?

About 55 miles from central London, and we cover it as standard.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

Yes, on request. Rice is naturally gluten-free, but stock and some ingredients may not be, so we make a separate gluten-free pan.

Do you cook it at the event?

Yes, always. Every paella is cooked from scratch on site, in front of your guests.

Is paella OK for kids?

Yes. Children normally love a plain chicken paella. Include children in your numbers.

Can you cook halal paella?

Yes, we do. Halal paella is cooked with halal chicken and no pork or alcohol, in its own pan.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

On request. Crockery or disposables are available.

What areas do you cover?

We cover London and the South East, Kent included. Find your area.

The menu, dish by dish

Tapas

Patatas bravas, tortilla, croquetas and olives to start.

Seafood paella

A seafood pan with prawns and mussels, for the fish lovers.

How it works

We take care of the food from set-up to service, so you are free to enjoy your party. Any tapas or canapés are served first while the paella cooks. A summer party in Bridge stays light until about 9:15pm at midsummer, which gives a garden party a long evening. In late September it is dark by about 7:00pm; add lights for the evening.

  1. First, we check the date and the space.
  2. You pick paellas, tapas and desserts.
  3. We set up the burners and start the sofrito.
  4. The rice goes in and your guests gather round.
  5. It’s served hot, and we clear away afterwards.
