Live tapas catering in Bow Brickhill

Tapas catering in Bow Brickhill, cooked live

Many classic tapas are naturally vegetarian, such as tortilla, bravas and padrón peppers, and some can be gluten-free. Typical bookings include launches and office parties and evening sharing boards, serving patatas bravas, Serrano ham and Manchego with membrillo.

In a rural spot like Bow Brickhill, tapas can be served in a garden, barn or marquee. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal included, each in a separate pan and clearly labelled.

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

If you do cook yourself, test the pan and burner together beforehand, have hot stock ready, and do not stir once the rice goes in. And keep children and pets well away from the burner.

Some hosts like to cook themselves. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the cooking.

Bow Brickhill station, about 0.7 miles west of the centre.

Is Bow Brickhill too small for live paella?

No, we cook in small places too. Let us know about access and parking.

Can you cater for children?

Children are welcome. Let us know numbers and ages, and we will plan a pan with them in mind.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

A gluten-free pan is no problem. Tell us about any coeliac guests when you book so we can plan it carefully.

Will there be enough food?

We size the pans for your numbers and the rest of the menu. Tell us what else is being served. See how much paella per person.

What areas do you cover?

We cover London and the South East, Milton Keynes included. Find your area.

Can you cook halal paella?

We can. Let us know your halal numbers, and it’s cooked separately.

Do you provide plates and cutlery?

Yes, if you need them. Let us know what you have, and we’ll quote for the rest.

Step by step

Watching it cook is half the fun. Onion, garlic, peppers and tomato go in first, then the stock and saffron, then the rice, which cooks without stirring. Evening receptions in Bow Brickhill stay light until about 8:55pm in late May and 9:25pm in late June, so canapés can go round outdoors on a summer evening.

  1. Tell us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. We suggest a selection and a quote.
  3. We set up and finish the hot dishes.
  4. We serve canapés or table tapas.
  5. We clear our equipment afterwards.

  • Anything your venue supplies
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • Where the event is

Each quote is tailored to your event. Tell us your date and guest numbers, and we will confirm whether we’re available that day.

Diets, allergies and planning

  • Let us know if tapas are a starter or the main event

Is live paella right for your event?

For food that gets people mingling, tapas work brilliantly. Larger events usually cost less per head, because the cooking set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.
