Tapas catering in Banbury, cooked live
Canapé tapas suit standing receptions; table tapas suit seated meals. Many events have both. Whether it’s evening grazing and anniversary parties, we’ll put together a menu of albóndigas, Manchego with membrillo and patatas bravas.
In Banbury, tapas and paella together make a complete menu. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests, with each paella cooked in its own pan and clearly labelled.

- Space on each table
- Unloading access
- Venue approval for outside catering
Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

What else we do in Banbury
How the day works
When we arrive, we set up the burners and pans and start cooking the sofrito and stock. Once the rice goes in, it takes about 20 minutes, so the timing is planned around your event. A summer drinks reception in Banbury has daylight until about 9:30pm at midsummer, ideal for tapas in the garden. In late September, sunset is about 7:10pm; winter receptions, dark by 3:55pm, are better indoors.
- You tell us the date, venue, numbers and how you’d like the tapas served.
- We put together a tapas selection and a quote.
- On the day, we set up and prepare the hot tapas there.
- Canapés go round with the drinks, or table tapas go out to share.
- Afterwards, our equipment is cleared away.
How to prepare
- Name one person we can ask on the day
- Arrange a covered spot for wet weather
- Share the running order, including any speeches

Organising for someone else?
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.
If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We’ll provide any information the landowner or council asks for.
Is live paella right for your event?
Nibbles fill a gap. Tapas make a proper course. Compared with a plated meal, live paella is often good value, because it needs no kitchen and fewer staff. We’ll send you a quote.
