What happens on the day
The paella is cooked in giant, shallow pans over gas burners. We need a level, ventilated spot, and we agree where that is before the day. At midsummer, it’s light in Heart's Delight until about 9:15pm, which gives a garden party a long evening. In late September it’s dark by about 7:00pm; add lights for the evening.
- It starts with your date, address, numbers and any diets.
- We suggest paellas and extras and send a quote.
- We arrive, set up in your garden or venue and start the sofrito.
- The paella cooks while your guests chat, with any tapas served first.
- It’s served from the pan, and we clear our area afterwards.
Before we arrive
- Give us a contact for the day
- Check the venue allows live cooking
- Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time

Travel, parking and access can affect the price, so it helps to tell us about your venue. Everything is confirmed in writing.
