The process

We arrive in good time before you want to eat, set up the cooking area and get the stock going. Guests normally gather round to watch while it cooks. Sunset in Harestock is about 8:55pm in late May and 9:25pm in late June. If the party runs past dark, we’ll need light where we cook and serve.

  1. It starts with your date, address, numbers and any diets.
  2. You get a menu suggestion and a clear price.
  3. On the day we arrive, set up our cooking area and start cooking.
  4. The paella cooks while your guests chat, with any tapas served first.
  5. We serve it hot from the pan, then pack down.

How to prepare

  • Arrange parking near the cooking spot
  • Have a gazebo or cover ready if rain is likely
  • Leave space around the cooking area

Planning help

Planning for every diet

Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:

  • Warn the neighbours
  • Collect dietary needs with your invites
  • Keep children and pets away from the burners
  • Put out bins for general waste and recycling

After service, we pack down, leaving you to carry on celebrating.

Add bread, salad and lemon.
