Paella catering in Rowly, made fresh on the day

Paella was made for feeding a crowd: cooked outdoors in a wide, shallow pan and shared. That is exactly what we bring to your event in Rowly. For family celebrations and christenings and big birthdays, we’ll put together a menu of mixed paella, chicken and chorizo paella and vegetable paella.

For a rural spot like Rowly, the countryside is part of the appeal: a paella cooking in a garden or field feels right at home. Tell us about access and the ground. You’ll know exactly what’s included before you book: menu, staff, crockery and anything else you choose, with no surprises on the day.

How the day works

Here’s how the day typically runs: we arrive, set up and start cooking, the rice cooks in front of your guests, and we serve straight from the pan at the agreed time. In Rowly, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so summer evening events are generally served in daylight. For winter events, when it is dark by about 3:55pm, we need lighting at the cooking spot.

  1. We start with a few details about your event.
  2. We suggest paellas and extras and send a clear quote.
  3. Timings, access and the cooking area are agreed in advance.
  4. On the day, we set up and cook in front of your guests.
  5. It is served straight from the pan, and we clear our area afterwards.

DIY paella versus live catering

Hiring a pan and burner is one option, but there’s shopping, prep and hours of cooking. We take care of all of it.

Weighing up DIY against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. We’re happy to give you a quote to compare.

Planning for every diet

We take diets and allergies seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Request clear labels at the serving table
  • Add a dietary question to your invitations
  • Count adults and children separately
  • Let us know if anyone has coeliac disease

On the day, you shouldn’t have to think about the food. We set up, cook and serve, and stay in touch with your venue about timings.

We can add sangria and bar staff to serve drinks you provide.

Dishes our guests love

Vegetable and vegan paella

Seasonal vegetables on a rich sofrito base make a proper main dish. For vegans, the stock is plant-based.

Paella Valenciana

Valencians take their paella seriously. The classic version is chicken, green beans and butter beans with saffron.

Is live paella right for your event?

Barbecues cook in batches, so food comes off in waves. Paella is ready all at once, so everyone eats together. There is no one-size-fits-all price for live paella. A garden party lunch and a full wedding menu are very different jobs. We itemise everything in your quote.

What you get with us

  • Cooking your guests will gather round to watch
  • A clear, itemised quote
  • Live cooking, not reheated food
  • Every diet catered for, pan by pan
