About our festival paella catering in The Haven
A paella stall covers several diets at once: separate meat, seafood and vegan pans. That simplifies your food line-up. Typical bookings include country shows and village fêtes and summer fairs, with vegan paella, seafood paella and churros.
A fête near The Haven might be on a field with no mains power; tell us what’s available and we’ll plan around it. Tapas, canapés, desserts, sangria and staff can all be added, so one booking can cover the whole menu.

How the day works
The paella is cooked in huge, shallow pans over gas burners. It needs a level spot with some shelter and good ventilation, and we agree where that is before the day. For an evening event in The Haven, sunset is about 8:50pm in late May and 9:20pm in late June; after that, the pitch needs good lighting.
- Send the event name, expected visitors and pitch size.
- You get our stall menu and what we need on site.
- We send the documents the event asks for.
- We time the first pans for the lunchtime rush.
- When trading ends, the pitch is cleared and left clean.
Before we arrive
- Give us a contact for the day
- Check the venue allows live cooking
- Have a level space ready for the pans

DIY paella versus live catering
You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.
You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but there’s shopping, prep and hours of cooking. We take care of all of it.
