For a church fête or fundraiser, at a church such as Church of St Nicholas, a paella stall adds a hot meal to the cakes and tombola. If you are organising a summer fair or fundraiser for a school such as St Nicholas CofE Primary School, a paella stall is a crowd-pleaser. Within about 7 miles is the North Wessex Downs National Landscape, where events may have extra rules on vehicles and waste; we will follow the site’s requirements.

Diets, allergies and planning
Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal included. To get it right:
- Agree waste arrangements with traders
- Book crew catering in advance
- Ensure the line-up includes vegan and gluten-free options
- Put picnic tables near the traders
We keep our pitch tidy and safe throughout the day.
Larger pans for peak times.
Is live paella right for your event?
Not every trader covers vegans. A paella stall can have a vegan pan alongside the rest. There’s no one-size-fits-all price for live paella. A garden party lunch and a full wedding menu are very different jobs. Your quote spells it all out.
What you get with us
- A quote that spells everything out
- Options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests, each in its own pan
- Fast service from the pan
- Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks

For planners, venues and organisers
Throwing a party at home? Send us a picture of the garden and tell us about access, and we’ll let you know if live paella is a good fit.
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.
Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?
Cooking it yourself? Test your pan and burner first, keep the stock hot, and don’t stir once the rice goes in. And keep children and pets well away from the burner.
Some hosts like to cook themselves. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the cooking.
East Challow questions
Is East Challow close to London?
About 59 miles from central London, and we cover it as standard.
Could we have live paella in Betjeman Millennium Park?
Only with permission from the park’s owner, normally the council. Check with them, and we’ll provide our paperwork.
Should we have more than one paella?
Most events have two or three: meat or mixed, seafood, and vegetable or vegan. We will help you decide the split.
Do you cook it at the event?
It is. We bring the pans, burners and fresh ingredients and cook it there and then, serving it hot from the pan.
Do you provide plates and cutlery?
If you need them, yes. Proper crockery or quality disposables are available.
How much is live paella catering?
Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually want. Tell us your date and numbers and we’ll reply with a price.
Will you have a stall at our event?
Tell us about your event, and we’ll reply with our availability and what we need.
What about pudding?
We can add a dessert. Tell us what you have in mind in your enquiry.
