Prices and what affects them
Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, depending on:
- Your choice of paellas
- Timings and hours
- Waiting and bar staff
- Guest numbers
The price depends on your guest numbers, the menu and how many courses you choose, plus any staff, crockery and travel. Every event gets its own quote.
What to tell us
You do not need every detail fixed to get a quote, but these help:
- Whether the venue has crockery or staff
- A photo of the cooking space, if it is a garden or field
- The date and rough timings
- The address or venue name
Not sure what you need yet? No problem: give us the basics about your event, and we will make suggestions. Start when you’re ready: use our quote form.

Cubitt Town: your questions answered
What about parking in Cubitt Town?
It can be, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. We’ll plan unloading around it.
Which station should guests use for Cubitt Town?
Canary Wharf station, about 0.8 miles north-west of the centre.
Can we book you as a trader?
Tell us about the event, dates and pitch, and we’ll check availability.
Do you need water?
Send pitch details and we will confirm.
How long does the paella take?
That depends on your menu and numbers. We’ll agree arrival, cooking and serving times with you so the paella is ready when you want it.
How much is live paella catering?
It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the courses, staff and travel. Tell us about your event and we will send a quote.
Can vegans eat at your stall?
Yes. There’s a vegan pan next to the others.
Do you cook inside?
Mostly outside or under an open cover, since the burners are gas. We’ll check whether your venue has a suitable space.
Live paella or other catering?
Not every trader covers vegans. A vegan paella pan sits alongside the others. Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: staff, crockery, sides, travel and VAT. We itemise ours.

The menu, dish by dish
Vegan paella
Vegan paella cooked separately.
Seafood paella
Seafood paella is always popular.
Should I cook it myself?
A DIY paella party works for small groups. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles separate pans for each diet.
If you do cook yourself, test the pan and burner together beforehand, have hot stock ready, and leave the rice alone once it is in. Keep a clear zone around the burner.
The process
Serving is fast: we serve straight from the pan, so large groups are fed quickly. Afterwards we clear our cooking area away. Summer events in Cubitt Town have daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer and about 7:05pm by late September, so evening trading normally finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:55pm, the pitch needs lighting.
- Tell us about the event, the crowd and the pitch.
- You get our stall menu and what we need on site.
- We send the documents the event asks for.
- On the day, the pans are on before the busiest hours.
- When trading ends, the pitch is cleared and left clean.
Preparing for the day
- Confirm the venue is happy with live cooking
- Arrange a covered spot for wet weather
- Have a level space ready for the pans
Get a quote
The quickest way to a quote is to fill in our quote form. Give us the details of your event, and we will put together a menu and price.
