Corporate paella catering for Lyminster events
Planning a team event in Lyminster
Lyminster is about 1 mile north-west of Littlehampton, in West Sussex. Tell us where your work event in Lyminster will be, and we will plan access and set-up. We cook in 371 places in West Sussex. Our events stretch from Lyminster to Brighton (about 18 miles away).
For staff and clients coming by train, the nearest station is Arundel station, about 1.3 miles north. Nearby historic houses include Ecclesden Manor (3.3 miles east). For a client event at a historic house or estate, ask early about catering rules and where cooking is allowed. The South Downs National Park is within about 6 miles, which suits team away days in the countryside. The coast is within about 2 miles, so a seafood pan goes down well at summer events.

If your venue is just outside Lyminster, we also cover Wick (1 mile south), Toddington (1 mile south-east), Crossbush (1 mile north-east), Tortington (1 mile west) and Littlehampton (1 mile south-east). How our corporate paella catering works in Lyminster
Live paella makes lunch an activity, not just a break from it. We cook bowl food, paella lunches and Spanish desserts, and we’re regularly asked to cater charity and fundraising events and team-building events.
An away day near Lyminster is a good fit for live paella: it needs no kitchen, just a level spot and access. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, not reheated.

How we price corporate paella catering
We’ll give you a clear, itemised quote. What affects it most:
- Guest numbers
- Distance and access to the venue
- The paellas you choose
- How many courses
Premium seafood costs more than chicken or vegetables, so the menu you choose affects the price. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.
What to tell us
You don’t need everything decided to ask for a quote, but these help:
- The date and rough timings
- The address or venue name
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
- Which courses you have in mind
Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. For a quote, send us your details through our quote form.

What we need at the venue
We’ll be honest if a space will not work, and suggest an alternative. What matters most:
- Somewhere close to park and unload
- Approval from your facilities team or building manager
- Outdoor space or a ventilated gazebo
If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and we’ll say what we think before booking.

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?
Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.
If you do cook yourself, test the pan and burner together beforehand, have hot stock ready, and don’t stir once the rice goes in. And keep children and pets well away from the burner.
How it works
We get there well before serving, unload, set up the burners and prepare the stock. Guests normally gather round to watch while it cooks. December events in Lyminster are in the dark from about 4:00pm, so plan lighting where we cook. Summer events have daylight until around 9:20pm.
- We start with your date, venue, headcount, timings and diets.
- We confirm a menu and a quote, with any paperwork your venue needs.
- Access, parking and set-up are agreed with you or facilities.
- The paella cooks in front of your team and is served at the agreed time.
- We clear our cooking area away and leave the space as we found it.

Questions from Lyminster
What about events near the coast?
Yes, with a sheltered cooking spot. Sea breezes cool the pan, so a windbreak, building or gazebo helps.
Do you cater in the South Downs National Park?
Yes. Some venues there have rules about vehicles, ground and cooking, so check with yours. We’ll follow the site rules.
What about pudding?
We can add a dessert. Let us know if you’d like one in your enquiry.
Do you take everything away?
Our cooking area is packed away and left clean. Ask us about table clearing if you need it.
Should we have more than one paella?
Typically two or three, so every guest has a choice. We will recommend a mix based on diets.
Can we add tapas or canapés?
Yes, it’s the classic pairing. Tapas first, paella to follow.
Do you offer halal options?
Yes, we do. We use halal chicken and leave out pork and alcohol, in a separate pan.
Do you cater for young children?
Children are welcome. Let us know numbers and ages, and we will plan a pan with them in mind.
Planning for every diet
Few dishes handle mixed diets as well as paella, because each paella is cooked in its own pan. A few tips:
- Add a diet question to the sign-up form
- Include soft drinks and water as well as alcohol
- Share the timings for food
- Think about shade and seating
We arrive on time and follow your site rules.
Sangria and bar staff for drinks you provide.
