What corporate paella catering costs

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:

  • How many guests are eating
  • Waiting and bar staff
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Starters, canapés and desserts

Tapas, desserts, sangria, staff and crockery are optional extras, so you only pay for what you want.

What we need to know

You don’t need everything decided to ask for a quote, but it helps to know:

  • Where the event is
  • What the venue already provides
  • The courses you’d like
  • A picture of where we’d cook

Getting a quote is simple: share your date, venue, numbers and diets. We will send a clear, itemised quote and a suggested menu.

Dargate: your questions answered

Can you cook in Mount Ephraim Gardens?

Only if the landowner, generally the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we’ll send any information they need.

Do you come out to small places like Dargate?

No, we cook in small places too. Tell us about lanes, gates and parking.

Is it really cooked live?

It is. We arrive with everything we need and cook on the day, serving it hot from the pan.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

We can cook a gluten-free paella in its own pan. Tell us about any coeliac guests when you book so we can plan it carefully.

What areas do you cover?

We cover London and the South East, Kent included. See all areas.

Can you do sangria?

Sangria can be added, and we can staff a bar with your drinks.

Can you serve tapas as well?

Of course. Canapés with drinks or tapas for the tables, while the rice is cooking.

When do you arrive?

That depends on your menu and numbers. We’ll agree arrival, cooking and serving times with you.

Planning the cooking area

If a space is not suitable, we’ll tell you, and help find another spot. The main points are:

  • Space well away from trees, fences and gazebo walls
  • Outdoor space or a ventilated gazebo
  • Sign-off from facilities for live cooking

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.

Popular choices

  • Bowl food
  • Drinks service
  • Canapé tapas
  • Desserts
  • Vegan & vegetarian pans
  • Paella lunches

DIY paella versus live catering

Hiring a pan and burner is one option, but there’s shopping, prep and hours of cooking. A caterer handles all of that.

Some hosts like to cook themselves. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

Working with your venue

Planning an event for a club, school or charity in Dargate? Paella is quick to serve to a crowd and suits most diets. Give us the details and we’ll suggest a plan.

Venues frequently have their own rules about outside caterers: where cooking is allowed, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

The process

It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, set up our cooking area, and get on with cooking and serving. December events in Dargate are in the dark from about 3:50pm, so plan lighting where we cook. Summer events have daylight until around 9:15pm.

  1. We check the date and venue.
  2. You choose paellas, canapés and extras.
  3. We send any documents your venue needs.
  4. Your team watches the paella cook.
  5. It’s served quickly, then we pack down.

How to prepare

  • Ensure the spot is clear of anything flammable
  • Tell us when you want to eat
  • Plan cover in case of rain

Is live paella right for your work event?

A barbecue cooks in batches and needs plenty of separate vegetarian food. Paella covers diets with separate pans. Premium seafood costs more than chicken or vegetables, so your choice of paellas affects the total. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.
