Wedding paella catering in Wraysbury

How our wedding paella catering works in Wraysbury

At a wedding, paella is both the meal and a bit of a show. Guests drift over to watch the pans while the photos are being taken, and the food arrives hot and plentiful. We cook a paella wedding breakfast, evening paella and Spanish desserts, and we are regularly asked to cater big weddings with every diet and informal wedding breakfasts.

For a smaller place like Wraysbury, a garden or farm wedding is frequently the dream. We need level ground and access. We serve straight from the pan, so it’s hot and generous, and a queue moves quickly.

Space, weather and the venue

The right spot keeps things safe and helps the paella cook evenly. We look for:

  • A level, firm spot for the burners and pans
  • A safe distance from anything that could catch
  • Access for unloading near the cooking spot

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly before booking.

The process

It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, set up the pans and burners, and cook and serve without fuss. In Wraysbury, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:05pm, so an evening paella for evening guests is normally served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it is dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting for the cooking area.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan your menu course by course.
  3. We agree timings with you and your venue.
  4. On the day, we cook and serve each course.
  5. We clear our area; staff stay as booked.

How we price wedding paella catering

There are no hidden charges: the price is based on:

  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
  • The paellas you choose
  • How many staff you need
  • Travel, parking and access

Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed before booking.

Details that help

Good planning starts with a few facts. Please include:

  • Which courses you have in mind
  • A photo of the cooking space, if it’s a garden or field

Your questions about wedding paella catering in Wraysbury

Can you cook in Arthur Jacob Nature Reserve?

Only if the landowner, generally the council, allows it. Check with them, and we will provide our paperwork.

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St Andrew?

Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is generally elsewhere. Tell us where the reception will be.

How long do you need on site?

It depends on the menu and numbers. We will agree arrival, cooking and serving times with you so the paella is ready when you want it.

Can you cater the whole day?

Any part of the day, or all of it, from canapés to evening food.

Is the paella gluten-free?

We can cook a gluten-free paella in its own pan. Tell us about any coeliac guests when you book so we take the right care.

Do you do desserts?

Yes. Spanish desserts such as churros or crema catalana, or you can serve your own cake.

Do you take everything away?

Our cooking area is packed away and left clean. Table clearing is available with waiting staff.

Do you cover Wraysbury?

Yes. We cater across London and the South East, including Wraysbury and the rest of Surrey. To check your date, use our quote form.

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Cooking paella for a crowd yourself is possible, but it’s harder than it looks. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right for dozens of people takes experience. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:

  • Choose pan-side or table service
  • Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs
  • Connect us with your coordinator
  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one

The pans are frequently set up where guests can see them, which makes a lovely backdrop for photos.

Add sangria, or bar staff to serve your own drinks.

What’s in the pans
