How our wedding paella catering works in Turnfurlong
Timing is everything with paella: once the rice goes in, it takes about 20 minutes, and it is best served straight away. We time it around your speeches and photos. Whether it is parties after a register office wedding and spanish-themed and destination-style weddings, we’ll put together a menu of evening paella, Spanish desserts and canapé tapas for your guests.
For a smaller place like Turnfurlong, a garden or farm wedding is often the dream. We need level ground and access. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, not reheated, and served as soon as it is ready.

What happens on the day
Serving is fast: we serve straight from the pan, so large groups are fed quickly. When service is finished, we pack down. In Turnfurlong, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:05pm, which means evening paella is normally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 3:55pm.
