Your questions about wedding paella catering in Enborne
Is Enborne too small for live paella?
No, we cook in small places too. Tell us about lanes, gates and parking.
Could we have live paella in Hamstead Marshall Park?
Only with permission from the park’s owner, normally the council. Check with them, and we will provide our paperwork.
Can we try the food first?
Tell us you’d like a tasting when you enquire, and we will explain how it works.
How much does wedding paella catering cost in Enborne?
We quote for each event, so you only pay for what you need. Tell us your date and numbers for a clear quote.
Can you supply plates?
Yes, if you need them. Tell us what your venue provides and we will include the rest in the quote.
Can you feed our photographer and band?
Yes, include them in your numbers. Tell us when they’ll eat.
Will there be enough food?
Quantities depend on numbers, timing and courses, with a sensible margin. Accurate numbers help.
Can you cater for children?
Children are welcome. Let us know numbers and ages, and we’ll plan for them.
Planning for every diet
A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:
- Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs
- Tell us when speeches will be
- Choose pan-side or table service
- Enquire early for peak dates
If speeches or photos run over, tell us, and we will adjust the cooking so the paella is served at its best.
Crockery, cutlery and waiting staff are available if your venue does not.
Perfect for your wedding in Enborne
Mixed diets are easy, which matters with a big guest list.

- VAT, if it applies
Paella compared with other options
If you’re weighing up paella against a traditional menu, think about your venue, your guests’ diets and the feel of the day. Seafood and premium ingredients cost more than chicken or vegetable paellas, so your choice of paellas affects the total. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.

Should I cook it myself?
You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Read how to cook paella for a crowd.
Hiring a pan and burner is one option, but you will still need to source ingredients, prep and cook for hours. A caterer handles all of that.
What we need at the venue
We’ll agree the cooking spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:
- An open-sided catering gazebo next to the marquee
- Access for unloading near the cooking spot
- Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site
Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.

The process
From set-up to serving, we look after the food, so you can enjoy your wedding. Any tapas or canapés are served first as the rice is cooking. In Enborne, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:10pm, which means evening paella is generally served in daylight in June and July. For autumn and winter weddings, when it’s dark by about 4:00pm in December, plan lighting for the cooking area.
- First, we check your date.
- You pick the courses and dishes.
- We confirm the plan with your coordinator.
- Guests watch the paella cook during the reception.
- We serve and clear our cooking area.
Getting ready for the day
- Arrange parking near the cooking spot
- Plan cover in case of rain
- Check the venue allows live cooking
