For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can hold the date.

About our wedding paella catering in Bisham

We can do the whole day or just one part: canapé tapas with the drinks, table tapas, paella for the wedding breakfast, evening food and desserts. We’re frequently asked to cater receptions after an intimate ceremony and destination-style celebrations at home, serving table tapas, evening paella and Spanish desserts.

A wedding in a small place like Bisham often means a field, a barn or a family garden. That’s exactly where live paella shines: no kitchen, just a level, sheltered spot. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. You will know exactly what’s included before you book: the menu, the staff and any extras, with no surprises on the day.

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Cooking paella for a crowd yourself is possible, but it’s harder than it looks. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right for dozens of people takes experience. Read how to cook paella for a crowd.

How the day works

We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. We need a level, ventilated spot, and we agree where that is before the day. In Bisham, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:05pm, so an evening paella for evening guests is usually served in daylight in high summer. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we plan each course.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. On the day, we cook and serve each course.
  5. We pack down, and staff stay as agreed.

How to prepare

  • Confirm the venue is happy with live cooking
  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Ensure we can park close by to unload

Planning the cooking area

Safety and good cooking both depend on the spot we use. We need:

  • Access for unloading near the cooking spot
  • Confirmation that open cooking is allowed
  • A cooking spot outside the marquee, not inside it

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and we will advise.

Planning for every diet

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests. To make it work smoothly:

  • Ask whether your venue allows outside caterers
  • Send us the running order and speech times
  • Introduce us to your venue coordinator
  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one

The pans are often set up where guests can see them, and it makes a great photo.

A table tapas starter gets everyone sharing.

Paella compared with other options

Hog roasts are popular but tricky for mixed diets. Paella covers them with separate pans. Extras such as tapas, desserts, sangria, staff and crockery are priced separately, so you can choose exactly what you need.

Why book with us

  • No hidden extras in your quote
  • Real theatre, not just catering
  • Drinks service on request
  • We cover Bisham and the whole of Buckinghamshire

Questions from Bisham

How far is Bisham from London?

Roughly 30 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.

We’re having a ceremony at Church of All Saints: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is generally elsewhere. Tell us where the reception will be.

What if the timings change?

It happens. We time the rice to the actual running order, so it is served at its best.

Do you work with our venue?

Yes. We will speak to your venue about access and timings.

What do you need at the venue?

Less than you might think: a level spot clear of fences, hedges and branches, with room for a serving table. Send us a picture if you are not sure.

Do you cook inside?

Indoors only where ventilation and the venue allow it. Courtyards, doorways and terraces frequently work.

Do you have a kids’ option?

Yes. A simple chicken paella is typically popular with children. Tell us how many are coming.

Do you provide drinks?

We can make sangria, and we can staff a bar with your drinks.

Prices and what affects them

Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Whether you need crockery
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • How many guests are eating
  • The paellas you choose

Got a budget? Let us know, and we will put together a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

What we need to know

When you get in touch, it helps to tell us:

  • Where the event is
  • What the venue already provides
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts

Send us the date, your venue or SL7 postcode and guest numbers, plus any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. To get started, fill in our quote form.
