Tapas catering in West End
Receptions and parties in West End
West End is about 2 miles south-west of Herne Bay, in Kent. Whether your event is in the middle of West End or on the outskirts, tapas catering works the same way: paella cooked live, every diet catered for and a clear quote. We cover all 922 towns and villages across Kent.
After a ceremony at a church such as St Peter, canapé tapas with the drinks keep guests happy during photos. Parks such as Curtis Wood have their own rules for catering, so check before planning a party there. The coast is within about 3 miles, so garlic prawns are popular.

Tapas catering for your event in West End
We will suggest a selection to suit your timings and guests, whether tapas are a starter or the whole meal. For engagement celebrations and receptions and drinks parties, we’ll put together a menu of albóndigas, croquetas and tortilla española for your guests.
In a rural spot like West End, tapas can be served in a garden, barn or marquee. We serve straight from the pan, so every plate is hot, and a queue moves quickly.
West End: your questions answered
Can you cater a reception after a service at St Peter?
Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is generally elsewhere. Tell us where the reception will be.
Is West End too small for live paella?
No, we cook in small places too. Tell us about lanes, gates and parking.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you have a date. Popular dates book up first, so get in touch early.
Where do you cater?
London and South East England: Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight, including West End.
What about pudding?
Yes, Spanish desserts can be added. Tell us what you have in mind when you ask for a quote.
Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?
Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.
Can you do gluten-free paella?
We can, if you tell us in advance. Rice is naturally gluten-free, but stock and some ingredients may not be, so we cook a gluten-free paella separately.
Do you provide drinks?
Sangria, yes. We can also supply bar staff for your own drinks.

Step by step
We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. We need a level, ventilated spot, and we agree where that is before the day. At midsummer, it is light in West End until about 9:15pm, perfect for canapés outdoors. By late September it is dark around 7:00pm, and in December by about 3:50pm.
- We check your date.
- You choose canapés, table tapas or both.
- We set up on arrival.
- Hot and cold tapas are served.
- Afterwards, we clear up.
Getting ready for the day
- Arrange a covered spot for wet weather
- Tell us when you want to eat
- Ensure the spot is clear of anything flammable
How to get a price
Every quote is put together for your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we’ll confirm whether we are available that day.
