Tapas catering for Minster events

The process

The paella is cooked in huge, shallow pans over gas burners. We need a level, ventilated spot, and we agree where that is before the day. At midsummer, it is light in Minster until about 9:15pm, perfect for canapés outdoors. By late September it’s dark around 7:00pm, and in December by about 3:50pm.

  1. You tell us the date, venue, numbers and how you’d like the tapas served.
  2. We suggest a selection and confirm a quote.
  3. We arrive, set up and finish hot dishes on site.
  4. Canapés go round with the drinks, or table tapas go out to share.
  5. We pack down when service ends.

Before we arrive

  • Arrange parking near the cooking spot
  • Have a gazebo or cover ready if rain is likely
  • Check the venue allows live cooking

Should I cook it myself?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right for dozens of people takes experience. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.
