Cook it yourself or book a caterer?
Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. We are happy to give you a quote to compare.
You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but there’s shopping, prep and hours of cooking. We take care of all of it.
Tapas catering for your event in Densole
Tapas are made for sharing and talking over. We serve them in two ways: canapés carried round while guests mingle, or table tapas set down to share. Popular choices include tortilla española, gambas al ajillo and croquetas, and we’re often booked for tapas with a paella main course and drinks parties and receptions.
In a rural spot like Densole, tapas can be served in a garden, barn or marquee. You’ll know exactly what’s included before booking: menu, staff, crockery and anything else you choose, with no surprises on the day.

If you’re booking for a business, tell us how you’d like to handle the booking and payment, and we will explain how it works. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.
Prices and what affects them
Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:
- How long we are needed on site
- Your choice of paellas
- Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
- Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff
Live paella often compares well with a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. We’ll send you a quote.
What we need to know
These details help us quote quickly:
- Whether the venue has crockery or staff
- Roughly how many adults and children
- The address or venue name
- Diets and allergies you know about
Every event is quoted individually, so you only pay for what you need. To ask for one, use our quote form.

How the day works
The paella is cooked in giant, shallow pans over gas burners. We need a level, ventilated spot, which we agree with you beforehand. Evening receptions in Densole stay light until about 8:45pm in late May and 9:15pm in late June, which suits an outdoor reception.
- It starts with your date, venue, numbers and how you want the tapas served.
