Our paella catering in HP18

Two or three pans side by side cover every guest: a meat or mixed paella, a seafood paella and a vegetable or vegan one. Each is cooked separately. We’re frequently asked to cater birthday celebrations and weddings and evening receptions, with vegan paella, mixed paella and paella Valenciana.

Service is quick: we serve straight from the pan, so large groups are fed quickly. When service is finished, we pack down.

  1. Start with the date, the place and the numbers.
  2. Expect a menu idea and a clear, itemised price.
  3. Closer to the day, we confirm timings and the cooking spot.
  4. On the day we cook live, timed around your event.
  5. Guests are served from the pan, and our area is cleared afterwards.

Paella catering in HP18: local guide

HP18 covers everything from Aylesbury, Haydon Hill and Long Crendon to 23 small villages and hamlets, and live paella works in all of them. Town events mean planning parking; village events mean planning access.

Long Crendon: If you are celebrating after a service at a church like Church of St Mary, live paella at a garden or venue nearby works well. If you’re organising a summer fair for a school like Long Crendon School, a paella stall is a crowd-pleaser. Around midsummer it stays light in Long Crendon until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. For winter events, when it is dark by about 3:55pm, we need lighting at the cooking spot.

What we need at the venue

We will agree the cooking spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:

  • Good ventilation: outdoors, or an open-sided cover
  • Level ground for the pans and burners
  • Clearance from fences, hedges, branches and anything flammable

Is live paella right for you?

Cold buffets are easy but forgettable, and the food sits out. Paella is cooked in front of your guests and served hot.
