Paella party catering for Preston events

Paella party catering in Preston, cooked live

Most gardens can host a paella party, as long as there is a flat spot clear of fences and branches. Send us a photo if you’re unsure. On the menu are chicken and chorizo paella, vegetable paella and tapas, and typical bookings are for anniversary celebrations and leaving dos and retirements.

A country party near Preston is perfect for paella: cooked in the open and served hot. Have a gazebo ready in case of rain. The paella is served straight from the pan, so every plate is hot, and a queue moves quickly.

What we need at the venue

We’ll agree the cooking spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site
  • A safe distance from anything that could catch
  • Parking close enough to carry equipment

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

How it works

We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. We need a level, ventilated spot, and we agree where that is before the day. A summer party in Preston stays light until about 9:15pm at midsummer, so a garden party can run well into the evening. In late September it’s dark by about 7:00pm; add lights for the evening.

  1. You tell us the date, address, guest numbers and any dietary needs.
  2. We suggest paellas and extras and send a quote.
  3. We arrive, set up in your garden or venue and start the sofrito.
  4. The paella cooks while your guests chat, with any tapas served first.
  5. We serve from the pan and clear our cooking area away when we’re done.

FAQs for Preston

Could we have live paella in Grove Ferry Picnic Area?

Only if the landowner, generally the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we will send any information they need.

Is Preston close to London?

Roughly 59 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.

Do you have a kids’ option?

Of course. A simple chicken paella is usually popular with children. Tell us how many are coming.

Is my garden big enough?

Many gardens work. We need level ground, clearance and access. A photo helps.

How long do you need on site?

We arrive well before serving to set up and start the stock. The rice itself takes about 20 minutes, and we time it to your schedule.

Is halal food available?

Yes, on request. Let us know your halal numbers, and we’ll cook a separate pan.

Will there be enough food?

We size the pans for your numbers and the rest of the menu. Let us know about any other food. See how much paella per person.

What happens if it rains?

A covered, ventilated spot keeps us cooking in the rain. We’ll make a plan B with you.

Tapas

Patatas bravas, tortilla, croquetas and olives to start.

Chicken & chorizo paella

Smoky, satisfying and popular with children, ideal for guests who skip seafood.

DIY paella versus live catering

A DIY paella party works for small groups. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles separate pans for each diet.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. With live paella catering, you get the theatre without the work.

Who books paella party catering in Preston?

It feeds a crowd without anyone stuck in the kitchen, and it is a talking point.

If you’re planning any of these, we can help:

  • Garden parties and summer barbecues
  • Milestone birthdays
  • Anniversaries and engagement parties
  • Street and neighbourhood parties

Parks such as Grove Ferry Picnic Area normally need permission for cooking, so a garden or hired venue is frequently easier.

Questions to ask before booking

  • The deadline for final numbers
  • The deposit and payment dates
  • Whether travel is included
  • Space, access and power needs

Our caterer checklist

Planning for every diet

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests. To make it work smoothly:

  • Collect dietary needs with your invites
  • Keep a clear zone around the cooking area
  • Arrange a gazebo in case of rain
  • Warn the neighbours

We’re set up before guests arrive, so the cooking is under way as people arrive.

Tapas and nibbles while the paella cooks keep guests happy.
