Live paella party catering in Frinsted

FAQs for Frinsted

Can you cater a reception after a service at St Giles?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Live cooking generally happens at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

Do you come out to small places like Frinsted?

Not at all. We cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Tell us about lanes, gates and parking.

How much is live paella catering?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the courses, staff and travel. Tell us about your event and we will send a quote.

Do you provide drinks?

Yes, sangria. For other drinks, we can provide bar staff to serve what you buy.

Do you provide plates and cutlery?

Yes, if you need them. Let us know what you have, and we’ll quote for the rest.

Can you cook indoors?

Mostly outside or under an open cover, because we use gas burners. We will check whether your venue has a suitable space.

Will the neighbours notice?

There’s a cooking smell, but much less smoke than a barbecue, and it is a good smell. A friendly note to the neighbours helps.

Where do you cater?

We cover London and the South East, including Kent. Find your area.

About our paella party catering in Frinsted

Mixed groups are easy: a meat or mixed paella, a seafood pan and a vegetable or vegan pan side by side. A plain chicken paella keeps children happy. Typical bookings include garden get-togethers and birthday parties, serving churros, vegetable paella and chicken and chorizo paella.

In a small place like Frinsted, a party in the garden or a nearby field is frequently the plan. Tell us about lanes and parking, and we’ll plan the set-up. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, never made in advance and reheated, and served as soon as it is ready.

About the dishes

Chicken & chorizo paella

It is one of the most popular pans at parties.

Churros

Sugary churros with chocolate, a sweet finish.

Step by step

When we arrive, we set up our cooking area, light the burners and start the sofrito. Once the rice goes in, it takes about 20 minutes, so the timing is planned around your event. Sunset in Frinsted is about 8:50pm in late May and 9:15pm in late June. If the party runs past dark, we will need light where we cook and serve.

  1. First, we check the date and the space.
  2. You choose your paellas and any extras.
  3. The burners go on and the sofrito starts.
  4. The rice goes in and your guests gather round.
  5. We serve hot and tidy our area afterwards.

Getting ready for the day

  • Plan cover in case of rain
  • Ensure the spot is clear of anything flammable
  • Share the running order, including any speeches

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

Weighing up DIY against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but there’s shopping, prep and hours of cooking. A caterer handles all of that.

Planners, venues and businesses

For larger events, we plan the number of pans and serving points around your timings, so guests are fed quickly. Let us know how long the food break is.

Planning an event for a club, school or charity in Frinsted? Paella is quick to serve to a crowd and suits most diets. Give us the details and we will suggest a plan.

Prices and what affects them

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Guest numbers
  • Your choice of paellas
  • Plates, cutlery and glassware

Live paella often compares well with a sit-down meal, because it needs no kitchen and fewer staff. Ask us for a quote.

What to tell us

These details help us quote quickly:

  • What the venue already provides
  • The date and rough timings
  • Which courses you have in mind
  • The address or venue name

Still deciding on the menu? No problem: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we’ll suggest a menu. To start, send us your details through our quote form.

Diets, allergies and planning

With a little notice, every diet is easy. Our advice:

  • Count adults and children separately
  • Collect dietary needs with your invites
  • Have enough chairs for most guests
  • Plan a covered spot for wet weather

We keep the cooking area tidy and safe, with a clear space around the burners.

Tapas and nibbles while the paella cooks keep hunger at bay.

Is live paella right for your party?

Home-made buffets take ages and sit out for hours. Paella is cooked fresh and served hot. Tapas, desserts, sangria, staff and crockery are optional extras, so you can choose exactly what you need.
