How we price paella party catering

There are no hidden charges: the quote reflects:

  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • The length of service

Premium seafood costs more than chicken or vegetables, so the menu you choose affects the price. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

What to tell us

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • The date and time of the event
  • Which courses you have in mind
  • The address or venue name
  • What the venue already provides

Every event is quoted individually, so you only pay for what you need. To ask for one, use our quote form.

Chalkshire parties: what to know

Chalkshire is about 4 miles south of Aylesbury, in Buckinghamshire. Chalkshire is one of 263 towns and villages in Buckinghamshire where we cook. You can also see our page for Oxford, about 19 miles away.

Christenings and naming days frequently start at a local church such as Church of St Peter and St Paul, with a paella lunch at home or in a hall afterwards. Chalkshire is within about 2 miles of the Chilterns National Landscape, so many gardens around here have a great outlook.

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.

Cooking paella for a crowd yourself is possible, but it is harder than it looks. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.
