Paella party catering in Broxhill

Paella party catering in Broxhill, cooked live

A paella party works in most gardens, if there’s a level spot away from fences and trees. Not sure? Send a picture. Popular choices include chicken and chorizo paella, churros and vegetable paella, and we are regularly asked to cater street parties and neighbourhood get-togethers and engagement and anniversary parties.

In a small place like Broxhill, a party in the garden or a nearby field is frequently the plan. Tell us about lanes and parking, and we’ll handle the rest. The paella is served straight from the pan, so every plate is hot, and service is quick once it’s ready.

Prices and what affects them

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • How many courses
  • How many staff you need
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Plates, cutlery and glassware

Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: staff, crockery, bread and salads, travel and VAT. Our quotes spell it all out.

Details that help

You do not need every detail fixed to get a quote, but these help:

  • The date and rough timings
  • The venue or postcode
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
  • A picture of where we’d cook

Getting a quote is simple: share your date, venue, numbers and diets. We will send a clear, itemised quote and a suggested menu.

Why live cooking beats a buffet

A buffet takes hours to prepare and leaves food sitting out. Paella is cooked fresh and served hot. There’s no one-size-fits-all price for live paella. A simple paella lunch costs less than a wedding with canapés, three paellas and waiting staff. Your quote spells it all out.

Why book with us

  • Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks
  • Catering across Hampshire, including Broxhill
  • Crockery and waiting staff if you need them
  • Real theatre, not just catering

Before you choose a spot

Most gardens and venues can host live paella, but a few things matter:

  • Parking close enough to carry equipment
  • A photo of the garden helps us check the space
  • Confirmation that open cooking is allowed

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

What happens on the day

The paella is cooked in huge, shallow pans over gas burners. It needs a level spot with some shelter and good ventilation, and we agree where that is before the day. A summer party in Broxhill stays light until about 9:25pm at midsummer, so a garden party can run well into the evening. By late September sunset is around 7:10pm, so plan festoon lights for later parties.

  1. First, we check the date and the space.
  2. You choose your paellas and any extras.
  3. The burners go on and the sofrito starts.
  4. In goes the rice, and guests gather.
  5. It’s served hot, and we clear away afterwards.

Organising a club, school or community event in Broxhill? Live paella feeds a crowd quickly and suits most diets. Give us the details and we’ll suggest a plan.

Planning for every diet

Nearly every event has some special diets. To cater well for them:

  • Arrange a gazebo in case of rain
  • Keep a clear zone around the cooking area
  • Collect dietary needs with your invites
  • Plan where rubbish goes

We keep the cooking area tidy and safe, with a clear space around the burners.

Churros with chocolate are a hit with children and adults.

Your questions about paella party catering in Broxhill

We are having a ceremony at Church of St James: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is normally elsewhere. Send us the reception address.

Is Broxhill too small for live paella?

No, we cook in small places too. Let us know about access and parking.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can for summer weekends, which fill up first. Check your date with us.

Do you do desserts?

We can add a dessert. Let us know if you’d like one when you ask for a quote.

Can you do sangria?

We can make sangria, and we can staff a bar with your drinks.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

On request. Crockery or disposables can be added.

Can you do a kids’ option?

Yes. Children typically love a plain chicken paella. Include children in your numbers.

Can you set up in a small garden?

Often, yes, if there’s a level spot clear of fences and trees. Send a photo and we’ll check.
