Live paella catering in London Beach

Paella catering for your event in London Beach

There is something generous about paella: huge pans, saffron colour and a toasted crust that everyone fights over. It turns a meal into an occasion. We’re often asked to cater summer garden parties and retirement celebrations, with chicken and chorizo paella, vegan paella and mixed paella.

In a hamlet or village like London Beach, your own garden or a neighbour’s field can make a wonderful venue. Gates, verges and soft ground are worth mentioning when you enquire. We serve straight from the pan, so every plate is hot, and service is quick once it is ready.

Questions from London Beach

Do you cater in the High Weald National Landscape?

Yes. Some venues there have rules about vehicles, ground and cooking, so check with yours. We’ll work to whatever the site needs.

Do you come out to small places like London Beach?

Not at all. We cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Let us know about access and parking.

Can we choose the seafood?

Seafood choices are agreed when we plan the menu, including premium options if you want them.

What if the weather’s bad?

We cook under cover, like a gazebo or open-sided marquee. We plan for rain with you in advance.

Do you do vegan paella?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.

Can you serve drinks?

Sangria, yes. For other drinks, we can provide bar staff to serve what you buy.

Does paella work for big events?

It’s ideal. Large pans and fast service from the pan make it well suited to crowds.

Can you cook indoors?

Indoors only where ventilation and the venue allow it. Most events have us cooking outside or in a doorway or courtyard.

What affects the price in London Beach

There’s nothing hidden: the price is based on:

  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
  • The length of service
  • Waiting and bar staff
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert

Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed before booking.

What we need to know

The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Try to include:

  • Where the event is
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • Whether the venue has crockery or staff
  • A picture of where we’d cook

To get a price, fill in our quote form. Give us the details of your event, and we’ll put together a menu and price.

How to compare caterers

Planners, venues and businesses

If you’re organising for someone else, whether you are a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we are happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It keeps things simple.

Throwing a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about parking, and we’ll let you know if live paella is a good fit.

Is live paella right for your event?

Food trucks and street-food vans serve one portion at a time. A big pan serves many guests fast, which suits weddings and parties where everyone eats together. Compared with a plated meal, live paella is frequently good value, because it needs no kitchen and fewer staff. We’ll send you a quote.

Why book with us

  • Add tapas, canapés and Spanish desserts
  • A quote that spells everything out
  • Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks
  • Everything cooked fresh at your event

Diets, allergies and planning

With a little notice, every diet is easy. Our advice:

  • Send allergies to us in writing
  • Add a dietary question to your invitations
  • Pick a mix of paellas to cover every diet
  • Let us know if anyone has coeliac disease

The rice takes about 20 minutes once it goes in, so we start it at the right moment for your event. If timings shift, we adapt.

Bread, salad and lemon wedges make the meal go further.

What happens on the day

We work to your timings. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, we adjust the cooking so it’s still served fresh. Planning an evening event in London Beach? Sunset is around 8:45pm in late May, 9:15pm at midsummer and 7:00pm in late September; after dark, the cooking and serving areas need good lighting.

  1. Start with the date, the place and the numbers.
  2. Expect a menu idea and a clear, itemised price.
  3. A week or so before, we confirm the plan.
  4. On the day we cook live, timed around your event.
  5. Guests are served from the pan, and our area is cleared afterwards.

Before we arrive

  • Have a level space ready for the pans
  • Arrange a covered spot for wet weather
  • Let us know who to talk to on the day

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

Cooking paella for a crowd yourself is possible, but it’s harder than it looks. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Read how to cook paella for a crowd.

A DIY paella party works for small groups. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles separate pans for each diet.
