Festival paella catering for West End events

Festival paella catering for your event in West End

Organisers can book us as a stall or as caterers for staff, crew, volunteers or VIP areas. Whether it’s farmers’ and Christmas markets and summer fairs and fêtes, we will put together a menu of vegan paella, chicken and chorizo paella and seafood paella for your guests.

Near West End, events may be far from shops and cafés, so a hot-food stall is a big help. Tapas, canapés, desserts, sangria and staff can all be added, so one booking can cover the whole menu.

Planners, venues and businesses

Hosting a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about parking, and we will tell you honestly whether live paella will work.

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.

Paella compared with other options

For a stall that adds atmosphere, a paella pan delivers. Compared with a plated meal, live paella is frequently good value, as there is no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. Ask us for a quote.

Why book with us

  • Catering across Surrey, including West End

DIY paella versus live catering

Cooking paella for a crowd yourself is possible, but it is harder than it looks. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right for dozens of people takes experience. Read how to cook paella for a crowd.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. With live paella catering, you get the theatre without the work.

Dietary needs and planning tips

We take diets and allergies seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Ask traders about packaging and waste
  • Plan for vegan and gluten-free visitors
  • Ask traders about serving speed at peak times
  • Give traders a single information pack

Allergen information is available at the stall.

Tapas and churros can be added to a stall menu.

How we price festival paella catering

There are no hidden charges: the quote reflects:

  • The paellas you choose
  • The length of service
  • Starters, canapés and desserts
  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables

There’s no one-size-fits-all price for live paella. A garden party lunch and a full wedding menu are very different jobs. We itemise everything in your quote.

What to tell us

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • A picture of the space, if you can
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • What the venue already provides
  • The date and time of the event

It’s easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll send a clear, itemised quote.

West End questions

Is West End close to London?

About 15 miles from central London.

Is West End too small for live paella?

Not at all. We cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Let us know about access and parking.

Where do you cater?

London and the South East: Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight.

What happens if it rains?

We cook under cover, such as a gazebo, marquee or open-sided barn with good ventilation. We will agree a wet-weather plan with you.

Is there a vegan option?

Yes. Vegan paella is cooked in its own pan.

When should we book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Even if it is short notice, it is worth asking.

Can you serve drinks?

We can make sangria, and provide bar staff to serve drinks you supply.

Is it really cooked live?

It is. We bring the pans, burners and fresh ingredients and cook on the day, then serve straight from the pan.

What happens on the day

When we arrive, we set up the burners and pans and start cooking the sofrito and stock. The rice goes in about 20 minutes before serving, so the timing is planned around your event. Evening events in West End have light until about 9:20pm at midsummer; after dark, we need a lit pitch.

  1. Tell us about the event, the crowd and the pitch.
  2. You get our stall menu and what we need on site.
  3. Paperwork goes over in good time.
  4. We time the first pans for the lunchtime rush.
  5. At close, we pack down and tidy up.

Getting ready for the day

  • Check the venue allows live cooking
  • Plan cover in case of rain
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
