How our festival paella catering works in Stockland Green
A paella stall covers several diets at once: meat, seafood and vegan pans side by side. That makes life easier for organisers. We’re frequently asked to cater farmers’ and Christmas markets and sports clubs and race days, with chicken and chorizo paella, seafood paella and churros.
Near Stockland Green, events may be far from shops and cafés, so a hot-food stall is a big help. Every pan is cooked in front of your guests, so the food is hot, fresh and part of the occasion.
What festival paella catering costs
These are the factors that matter most:
- Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff
- How long we’re needed on site
- Distance and access to the venue
- Guest numbers
Live paella pricing depends on the event. A garden party lunch and a full wedding menu are very different jobs. Your quote spells it all out.
What we need to know
To check availability and price, we need:
- A picture of the space, if you can
- The address or venue name
- Your date and when you want to eat
- The courses you’d like
Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and we will reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just use our quote form.
For planners, venues and organisers
If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we are happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.
Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we will talk you through the process. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.
Should I cook it myself?
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up stuck at the stove. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.
Weighing up DIY against a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.
Is live paella right for your event?
Burger stalls are common. Paella adds something different in a food line-up. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed before booking.

Stockland Green: your questions answered
Can you cook in Barnett's Wood?
Only with permission from the park’s owner, typically the council. Check with them, and we’ll provide our paperwork.
Which station should guests use for Stockland Green?
High Brooms station, about 2 miles east of the centre.
What space do you need to cook?
Level ground for the burners, pans and a table, outdoors or in a marquee or well-ventilated area, and the venue’s permission for live cooking.
What about pudding?
We do. Churros, crema catalana and tarta de Santiago are popular choices, or you can serve your own cake.
What documents can you send?
Send your requirements and we will include them with our application.
Do you take everything away?
Our cooking area is packed away and left clean. Table clearing is available with waiting staff.
Can we add tapas or canapés?
Yes. Canapé tapas with the drinks, or table tapas to share, served while the paella cooks.
Can you serve drinks?
We can make sangria, and provide bar staff to serve drinks you supply.
How it works
It is a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, set up the pans and burners, and cook and serve without fuss. For an evening event in Stockland Green, sunset is about 8:50pm in late May and 9:20pm in late June; after dark, we need a lit pitch.
- It starts with your event details and pitch information.
- You get our menu, pitch requirements and paperwork.
- On the day, we arrive and set up our pitch.
- The paella cooks in full view, and we serve from the pan through the event.
- We pack down and leave the pitch tidy.
Before we arrive
- Get the venue’s permission for cooking
- Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches
- Arrange a covered spot for wet weather
