How our festival paella catering works in Rosehill

Organisers can book us as a stall or as caterers for staff, crew, volunteers or VIP areas. We’re often asked to cater food and music festivals and farmers’ and Christmas markets, serving churros, giant-pan paella and seafood paella.

In Rosehill, a paella pan suits street parties and school fairs, once permissions are sorted. We cook every pan in full view of your guests, so it arrives hot and becomes part of the event.

Should I cook it myself?

Weighing up DIY against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. We’re happy to give you a quote to compare.

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.

Working with your venue

Events in public spaces, like parks, generally need permission. We can send whatever the landowner or council needs from us.

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we will keep you updated on timings and set-up.

Why choose festival paella catering in Rosehill?

Organisers book paella because it draws people into the food area and serves them fast.

These are some of the occasions we cater:

  • School and charity events
  • Food and music festivals
  • Christmas and farmers’ markets
  • Race days and sports events

Running a fête for a church like St Peter's Church? A paella pan draws people in.

What to look for in a quote

  • How each diet is kept separate
  • The wet-weather plan
  • Space, access and power needs
  • Whether travel is included

Paella compared with other options

Food that sits in a hot cabinet isn’t much to look at. A giant pan cooking in view sells itself. Larger events usually cost less per head, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.

Why choose Love Paella in Rosehill

  • Everything cooked fresh at your event
  • Sangria and bar staff available
  • Real theatre, not just catering
  • A clear, itemised quote

Step by step

We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. It needs a level spot with some shelter and good ventilation, and we agree where that is before the day. Summer events in Rosehill have daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer and about 7:05pm by late September, which helps evening trading. For winter markets, dark by about 3:55pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. Organisers send us the event details, dates and pitch information.
  2. You get our menu, pitch requirements and paperwork.
  3. On the day, we arrive and set up our pitch.
  4. The paella cooks in full view, and we serve from the pan through the event.
  5. At the end, we clear our pitch.

How to prepare

  • Make sure the spot is clear of anything flammable
  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Plan cover in case of rain

Your questions about festival paella catering in Rosehill

What about parking in Rosehill?

It can be, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. We will plan unloading around it.

Do you trade at school fairs around Rosehill?

Yes, if the school is happy for us to cook on site. Send us the date, pitch and expected numbers.

What do you need at the venue?

Not a lot: a level spot clear of fences, hedges and branches, with room for a serving table. If in doubt, send a photo.

Do you do crew catering?

Yes. Crew, volunteer and VIP catering is available, with or without a public stall.

Can you provide dessert?

Yes. Churros, crema catalana and tarta de Santiago are popular choices, or you can serve your own cake.

Can you cook in the rain?

A covered, ventilated spot keeps us cooking in the rain. We will make a plan B with you.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

We can cook a gluten-free paella in its own pan. Tell us about any coeliac guests when you book so we can plan it carefully.

Can you handle a lunchtime rush?

Big batches and service from the pan keep things moving.
