Planning an event in Ridgeway?
Festival paella catering in Ridgeway, made fresh on the day
Crew and volunteer catering can be timed to your schedule, keeping your team fed. Whether it is village fêtes and crew, volunteer and VIP catering, we can cook seafood paella, churros and giant-pan paella for your guests.
For a village fête or field event near Ridgeway, we can bring hot food to a rural site. Ground conditions and access matter, so tell us about them. We serve straight from the pan, so every plate is hot, and a queue moves quickly.
Cook it yourself or book a caterer?
For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles separate pans for each diet.
Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. We’re happy to give you a quote to compare.
How we price festival paella catering
Every event is priced individually, based on a few main things:
- Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff
- The paellas you choose
- Timings and hours
- Whether you need crockery
When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: staff, crockery, sides, travel and VAT. Our quotes spell it all out.
Details that help
We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what’s useful:
- The date and rough timings
- Whether the venue has crockery or staff
- The courses you’d like
- A picture of the cooking space, if it is a garden or field
It is easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We will send a clear, itemised quote.
Ridgeway: your questions answered
Do you trade at school fairs around Ridgeway?
Yes, if the school is happy for us to cook on site. Send us the date, pitch and expected numbers.
What’s the nearest station to Ridgeway for guests?
Westenhanger station, about 3.9 miles south-east of the centre.
What areas do you cover?
We cover London and the South East, Kent included. See all areas.
Do you cook inside?
Only in a suitable, well-ventilated area with the venue’s permission. Courtyards, doorways and terraces often work.
Do you cook it at the event?
Yes, always. Every paella is cooked from scratch on site, in front of your guests.
When should we book?
As soon as you have a date. Popular dates book up first, so it pays to ask early.
Can you supply plates?
We can. Let us know what you have, and we will quote for the rest.
Can you cater for crew and volunteers?
Yes. We can cook for crew, volunteers or a hospitality area as well as, or instead of, a public stall.

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.

How it works
On the day, we set up the burners and pans and start cooking the sofrito and stock. The rice goes in about 20 minutes before serving, so we time everything to your schedule. Summer events in Ridgeway have daylight until about 9:15pm at midsummer and about 7:00pm by late September, so evening trading normally finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:50pm, the pitch needs lighting.
- It starts with your event details and pitch information.
- We confirm what we will serve, our pitch needs and any paperwork.
- We arrive at the agreed time to set up the pitch.
- We cook in front of the crowd and serve from the pan all event.
- We pack down and leave the pitch tidy.
Preparing for the day
- Give us a contact for the day
- Get the venue’s permission for cooking
- Confirm numbers and diets before the day
