About our festival paella catering in Longparish

Few street foods pull a crowd like a huge paella pan. The sight and smell of it cooking brings people over, and portions are served quickly from the pan. We cook vegan paella, seafood paella and churros, and we are regularly asked to cater food and music festivals and seasonal markets.

Near Longparish, events may be far from shops and cafés, so a paella stall is a welcome sight. We serve straight from the pan, so every plate is hot, and a queue moves quickly.

Dishes our guests love

Chicken & chorizo paella

Smoky and filling, popular with families.

Vegan paella

Vegan paella cooked separately.

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but there’s shopping, prep and hours of cooking. We take care of all of it.

For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.

Planning the cooking area

Most outdoor spaces and many venues work for live paella, but a few things matter:

  • Spacing from tents and other structures
  • Your arrangements for power, water and waste
  • Flat, firm ground

If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and we will say what we think before you book.

What we offer

Catering for every guest

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Try these:

  • Ask about peak-time capacity
  • Check allergen info is on display
  • Plan for vegan and gluten-free visitors
  • Ask traders about packaging and waste

We arrive at the agreed time and set up our pitch.

Larger pans for peak times.

The process

We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. We need a level, ventilated spot, and we agree where that is before the day. Summer events in Longparish have daylight until about 9:25pm at midsummer and about 7:10pm by late September, so evening trading typically finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 4:00pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. Tell us about the event and pitch.
  2. We send our menu, needs and paperwork.
  3. We arrive and set up at the agreed time.
  4. We cook and serve throughout.
  5. We clear and leave the pitch clean.

Getting ready for the day

  • Get the venue’s permission for cooking
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
  • Ensure the spot is clear of anything flammable

Longparish: your questions answered

Can you run a stall at a school fair in Longparish?

Yes, if the school is happy for us to cook on site. Send us the date, pitch and expected numbers.

Is Longparish too small for live paella?

Not at all. We cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Let us know about access and parking.

Do you have vegan options at events?

Yes, always. A vegan paella pan sits alongside the meat and seafood pans.

Do you do desserts?

Yes. Spanish desserts such as churros or crema catalana.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.

What space do you need to cook?

A level space for the pans, burners and a serving table, in the open air or a ventilated covered area, plus the venue’s agreement to cooking.

Can we book you as a trader?

Tell us about your event, and we’ll confirm availability and requirements.

Can you cater for crew and volunteers?

We can. We can cook for crew, volunteers or a hospitality area as well as, or instead of, a public stall.

For planners, venues and organisers

Events in public spaces, like parks, typically need permission. We can send whatever the landowner or council needs from us.

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.

What affects the price in Longparish

We will give you a clear, itemised quote. The main things that affect it are:

  • Waiting and bar staff
  • Whether you need crockery
  • Guest numbers
  • Parking and unloading

Compared with a plated meal, live paella is often good value, because it needs no kitchen and fewer staff. We will send you a quote.
