Live festival paella catering in Erith

Festival paella catering in Erith, cooked live

The cooking is part of the show. People stop, watch and come back to eat. On the menu are giant-pan paella, seafood paella and vegan paella, and we’re regularly asked to cater sports club events and crew, volunteer and VIP catering.

Street parties and school fairs in Erith are a great fit for a paella stall, as long as the road closure or site permission is in place. Tapas, canapés, desserts, sangria and staff can all be added, so one booking can cover the whole menu.

Catering for every guest

Few dishes handle mixed diets as well as paella, because every paella has its own pan. Here are a few tips for planning:

  • Feed crew and volunteers at set times
  • Plan for vegan and gluten-free visitors
  • Plan seating near the food area
  • Agree waste arrangements with traders

At the end, we clear the pitch and leave it clean.

Working with your venue

Hosting a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about parking, and we’ll tell you honestly whether live paella will work.

For big numbers, we plan pans and serving points to keep queues short, so guests are fed quickly. Let us know how long the food break is.

The process

Serving is fast: the paella goes straight from the pan to the plate, so large groups are fed quickly. When service is finished, we pack down. For an evening event in Erith, sunset is about 8:50pm in late May and 9:20pm in late June; after dark, we need a lit pitch.

  1. You send us the event, dates and pitch details.
  2. You get our menu, pitch requirements and paperwork.
  3. We set up at the agreed time.
  4. Pans cook in full view and we serve throughout the event.
  5. We clear the pitch and leave it clean.

How to prepare

  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
  • Get the venue’s permission for cooking
  • Share the running order, including any speeches

Planning help

What festival paella catering costs

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
  • How long we are needed on site
  • How many staff you need
  • Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

What we need to know

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but these help:

  • Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
  • The venue or postcode
  • What the venue already provides

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we will confirm whether we’re available that day.

Questions from Erith

Do you trade at school fairs around Erith?

Yes, with the school’s permission. Send us the date, pitch and expected numbers.

Is parking a problem for events in Erith?

It can be, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. We’ll plan unloading around it.

What areas do you cover?

We cater across London and the South East, Greater London included. Find your area.

Do you do starters?

Yes, it’s the classic pairing. Tapas go out first, then the paella.

Can we book you as a trader?

Send us the event details, dates and pitch information, and we’ll let you know if we are available.

Can you cook halal paella?

Yes, we do. Halal paella is cooked with halal chicken and no pork or alcohol, in its own pan.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, and meat eaters often go back for seconds. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.

How much does festival paella catering cost in Erith?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually want. Tell us your date and numbers and we’ll reply with a price.

Live paella or other catering?

Not every trader covers vegans. A vegan paella pan sits alongside the others. Extras such as tapas, desserts, sangria, staff and crockery are priced separately, so you can choose exactly what you need.

Why Erith hosts choose us

  • No hidden extras in your quote
  • Plates, cutlery and waiting staff available
  • Sangria and bar staff available
  • Options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests, each in its own pan

DIY paella versus live catering

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.

Cooking it yourself? Test your pan and burner first, keep the stock hot, and leave the rice alone once it is in. And keep children and pets well away from the burner.

Before you choose a spot

The right spot keeps things safe and helps the paella cook evenly. We need:

  • Spacing from tents and other structures
  • Access for unloading at set-up
  • Trader information and site rules

As a London location, Erith is inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking takes planning: let us know about permits, bays or off-street parking.

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and we’ll say what we think before you book.
