Live festival paella catering in Bogle

About our festival paella catering in Bogle

Few street foods pull a crowd like a giant paella pan. People follow the smell, and portions are served quickly from the pan. Popular choices include churros, giant-pan paella and seafood paella, and we’re often booked for village fêtes and seasonal markets.

For a village fête or field event near Bogle, we can bring hot food to a rural site. Ground conditions and access matter, so tell us about them. We serve straight from the pan, so it’s hot and generous, and a queue moves quickly.

DIY paella versus live catering

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

If you do cook yourself, test the pan and burner together beforehand, keep the stock hot, and don’t stir once the rice goes in. Keep a clear zone around the burner.

Your questions about festival paella catering in Bogle

Is Bogle too small for live paella?

Not at all. We cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Tell us about lanes, gates and parking.

Which station should guests use for Bogle?

The closest is Teynham station, roughly 1.1 miles away.

How many different paellas?

Two or three is usual: meat or mixed, seafood, and vegetable or vegan. We’ll help you decide the split.

Will you have a stall at our event?

Tell us about the event, dates and pitch, and we’ll check availability.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. Each is cooked separately, with its own stock and utensils.

Who clears up?

Our cooking area is packed away and left clean. Table clearing is available with waiting staff.

How much space do you need?

Level ground for the burners, pans and a table, in the open air or a ventilated covered area, and the venue’s permission for live cooking.

Do you cook it at the event?

Yes. We arrive with everything we need and cook on the day, serving it hot from the pan.

What we need at the venue

No two venues are the same, so we will ask about yours before we confirm. Generally, we look for:

  • A level pitch on firm ground
  • Vehicle access before and after the event
  • Your trader pack and site rules

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and we’ll advise before booking.

The process

On the day, we set up our cooking area, light the burners and start the sofrito. The rice goes in about 20 minutes before serving, so the timing is planned around your event. For an evening event in Bogle, sunset is about 8:50pm in late May and 9:15pm in late June; after that, the pitch needs good lighting.

  1. Tell us about the event and pitch.
  2. We confirm menu, pitch needs and documents.
  3. We arrive and set up at the agreed time.
  4. We cook and serve throughout.
  5. We pack down and tidy the pitch.

How to prepare

  • Leave space around the cooking area
  • Make sure we can park close by to unload
  • Plan cover in case of rain

Planning help

What festival paella catering costs

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, depending on:

  • Whether you need crockery
  • The number of people
  • How many courses
  • The length of service

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. Even a simple menu can be a feast.

What to tell us

Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:

  • The date and rough timings
  • The courses you’d like
  • A photo of the space, if you can
  • The address or venue name

Getting a quote is simple: share your date, venue, numbers and diets. We will come back with a clear quote and a suggested menu.

Organising for someone else?

Hosting a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about parking, and we will let you know if live paella is a good fit.
