Corporate paella catering in Tilmanstone, cooked live

We plan the number of pans and serving points around your timings, so a large team can be fed in a lunch break. For product launches and open days and charity days, we can cook canapé tapas, paella lunches and bowl food and more.

An away day near Tilmanstone is a good fit for live paella: it needs no kitchen, just a level spot and access. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, not reheated.

Corporate events around Tilmanstone

Tilmanstone is about 4 miles west of Deal, in Kent. Across the CT14 area, we can bring the pans to you. We cover all 922 towns and villages across Kent. Our events stretch from Tilmanstone to Canterbury (10 miles away).

Nearby historic houses include Goodnestone Park (3.5 miles north-west) and Walmer Castle (4.8 miles east). Estates and historic houses can make memorable settings for client events, but they generally set strict rules for caterers. Central London is about 63 miles from Tilmanstone, so it’s a practical spot for away days and team events. The coast is within about 5 miles, so a seafood pan goes down well at summer events.

We cook at work events all over the CT14 postcode area and the streets around it. Local streets include Upper Street, Vicarage Lane and Chapel Road; a work event at home on any of them works well with live paella. We also cook at work events in Elvington (2 miles west), Heronden (2 miles north), Chillenden (2 miles north-west), Barfrestone (2 miles west) and Hammill Park (3 miles north). Larger places within reach include Canterbury (10 miles north-west), Margate (12 miles north), Dover (5 miles south), Folkestone (11 miles south-west), Ramsgate (10 miles north-east) and Broadstairs (12 miles north-east).

A little further out are Deal Castle (4.7 miles east) and Buckland Hospital (5.7 miles south).

Planning for every diet

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:

  • Have water and soft drinks available
  • Think about shade and seating
  • Ask facilities what documents they need from us
  • Ask staff about diets in advance

We adapt if timings change.

Bar staff and sangria on request.

What corporate paella catering costs

These are the factors that matter most:

  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • Timings and hours
  • Guest numbers

Seafood and premium ingredients cost more than chicken or vegetable paellas, so your choice of paellas affects the total. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

What we need to know

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what’s useful:

  • The date and time of the event
  • A photo of the cooking space, if it’s a garden or field
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just send us your details through our quote form.

Why choose corporate paella catering in Tilmanstone?

Live paella or other catering?

Sandwiches are easy but forgettable. Live paella is an event in itself. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: staff, crockery, bread and salads, travel and VAT. We itemise ours.

DIY paella versus live catering

You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but there’s shopping, prep and hours of cooking. A caterer handles all of that.

If you do cook yourself, test the pan and burner together beforehand, have hot stock ready, and do not stir once the rice goes in. And keep children and pets well away from the burner.

What happens on the day

Once the rice is in, we don’t stir it. That’s how the grains cook evenly and the toasted base, the socarrat, forms. The smell normally draws people over. For a Christmas party in Tilmanstone, it’s dark by about 3:50pm, so the cooking and serving areas need good lighting. Summer events have daylight until around 9:15pm.

  1. We check the date and venue.
  2. You choose paellas, canapés and extras.
  3. We send any documents your venue needs.
  4. The paella cooks as your team gathers.
  5. Fast service, then we clear away.

Getting ready for the day

  • Give us a contact for the day
  • Tell us where to park and unload
  • Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches

Tilmanstone: your questions answered

Do you come out to small places like Tilmanstone?

Not at all. We cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Tell us about lanes, gates and parking.

What about events near the coast?

Yes, as long as we can shelter from the wind. Wind is the main issue on the coast, so we plan shelter.

Do you work in winter?

Yes, where the venue has a covered, ventilated space to cook. Book early for December.

How much paella per person?

We size the pans for your numbers and the rest of the menu. Let us know about any other food. See how much paella per person.

Do you clear up afterwards?

We take our equipment and leave the cooking area tidy. Ask us about table clearing if you need it.

How many different paellas?

Two or three is usual: a meat or mixed paella, a seafood paella and a vegetable or vegan one. We will help you decide the split.

What does corporate paella catering cost?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the courses, staff and travel. Send us the details for a quote.

Do you do starters?

Yes, it is the classic pairing. Tapas go out first, then the paella.

  • Cooked live in giant pans at your event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options
  • Paella, tapas, canapés and desserts
  • Sangria, bar staff, crockery and waiting staff
