Corporate paella catering in River, cooked live
Work events are diverse, and food can easily leave people out. Separate pans mean everyone eats the same kind of meal. Popular choices include bowl food, paella lunches and canapé tapas, and typical bookings are for launches and open days and christmas parties.
Around River, team days can be at rural venues or the office. Paella suits all of them. You can add tapas, desserts, sangria, bar staff and waiting staff, so the whole menu comes from one caterer.
Space, weather and the venue
Live paella is cooked over gas burners in large pans, so the cooking area needs a little planning. Here’s what we look for:
- Parking close enough to carry equipment
- Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site
- Level ground for the pans and burners
If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and we’ll say what we think before you book.

How it works
We arrive in good time before you want to eat, unload, set up the burners and prepare the stock. Your guests are welcome to watch as the paella takes shape. In River, a summer staff party stays light until about 9:15pm; winter events, dark by about 3:50pm, need lit cooking and serving areas.
- We start with your date, venue, headcount, timings and diets.
- You get a menu, a quote and any documents the venue asks for.
- We agree access, parking and set-up times with you or the venue.
- On the day we set up, cook live and serve at the agreed time.
- Afterwards, our area is cleared and left clean.
Before we arrive
- Pick a flat, firm spot for us to cook
- Confirm the venue is happy with live cooking
- Let us know the timings for the day

River questions
Can you cook in Old Park Hill?
Only if the landowner, usually the council, allows it. Check with them, and we will provide our paperwork.
Can you cook at venues in the Kent Downs National Landscape?
Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. We’ll work to whatever the site needs.
Can you serve a large team in a lunch break?
Yes. We plan pans and serving points so service is fast.
Can you cook indoors?
Indoors only where ventilation and the venue allow it. Most events have us cooking outside or in a doorway or courtyard.
What documents can you provide?
Let us know what’s required, and we will send what you need.
Can we add tapas or canapés?
Of course. Canapés with drinks or tapas for the tables, served while the paella cooks.
Can you cook halal paella?
Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need halal food, and we’ll cook a separate pan.
Do you do Christmas parties?
With the right covered space, yes. Hot paella in winter is popular.
Live paella or other catering?
Buffets can leave food sitting out. Paella goes straight from pan to plate. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so it helps to tell us about your venue. The full price is confirmed before booking.
Why book with us
- Fast service from the pan
- Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks
- Real theatre, not just catering
- Paella cooked from scratch on site
Should I cook it myself?
Some hosts like to cook themselves. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.
Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.
